Lavandin is a natural hybrid that grows on the Valensole plateau.

Our Lavandin essential oil, from the world’s most widespread variety of lavender, is a family pride cultivated for four generations.

Grown in certified organic agriculture, our lavandin enables us to offer an essential oil of Lavandin with recognized medicinal properties, thanks to production close to its original conditions, without chemicals or artificial watering. Its exceptional fragrance stands out and is used in a wide range of products.

Composition: Our product is 100% organic lavandin essential oil, packaged in a brown glass bottle for optimum conservation.

Directions for use

CAUTION lavandin is not edible.

For relaxation:

Diffusion: Add a few drops to a diffuser for a calming, soothing effect.

Bath: Mix 10 drops with a neutral base (vegetable oil or milk) and add to bath water for complete relaxation.

Massage: massage a few drops diluted in a base oil on the soles of the feet before going to bed.

For muscular pain:

Massage: Dilute 5 drops in a tablespoon of vegetable oil and massage into aching muscles to relieve pain.

To disinfect the air:

Disinfectant spray: Mix 20 drops with 100 ml water in a spray bottle to sanitize ambient air.

Mix 20 to 30 drops of lavandin essential oil in 500 ml of water and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use to disinfect kitchen, bathroom surfaces or door handles.

Precautions:

– Always dilute lavandin essential oil in a base oil for skin application.

– Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

– Do a skin test before extensive use to check for allergic reactions.

– Consult a health care practitioner in case of pregnancy, breast-feeding or for use on young children.

How do I scent my laundry with lavandin essential oil?

Add 5 to 10 drops to the fabric softener compartment or to a dryer/washing ball, every wash. For delicate fabrics, try a small load first.

How can I scent a wardrobe or drawers naturally?

Put 2 to 3 drops on a scent stone, a piece of wood or a sachet of lavandin flowers, never directly on clothes. Refresh every 2 to 3 weeks.

How do I make my home smell nice with an essential oil?

In a diffuser: 5 to 10 drops for 15 to 20 minutes, then air the room. You can also add a few drops to your floor-cleaning water or to your vacuum cleaner filter.

What is the difference between lavender and lavandin?

Lavandin is a natural hybrid of fine lavender. Its scent is stronger and slightly camphorous: perfect for the home and laundry. Fine lavender, softer, is preferred for relaxation.

Why choose a large bottle?

For regular home use (laundry, cleaning, diffusing), the 250 or 500 ml bottle is much cheaper per millilitre than a small one.

Are our lavender essential oils suitable for babies and children?

Lavandin is a plant in the same family as lavender, but with slightly different properties. Lavandin essential oils are sometimes used for similar purposes to lavender, but it is important to note that lavandin has a distinct chemical composition and can be stronger than lavender.

Age: Children under 6 are more sensitive, and it is recommended that essential oils not be used on children under 6, except under the supervision of a health professional.

Dilution: If you choose to use lavandin essential oil, make sure you dilute it properly in a carrier oil (such as sweet almond or jojoba oil) before applying it to the baby's or child's skin. The recommended dilution is generally one drop of essential oil in one tablespoon of carrier oil.

Route of administration: Avoid applying essential oils directly to the face, especially near the eyes, nose and mouth. You can opt for a light diffusion in the room or a diluted skin application to specific areas.
