Miel de Garrigue is a springtime honey, born from the generous diversity of local flora. It incorporates the distinctive flavors of wild herbs such as thyme and rosemary, as well as oak honeydew. Our bees delight in these spring blooms to produce a unique honey.

With its lovely light amber color, this honey crystallizes thicker than its cousin lavender honey. It offers a more pronounced and characteristic flavor, marking a typical garrigue taste.

Directions for use

For breakfast :

On toast: Spread honey generously on fresh bread or toast for a delicious, energizing breakfast. With yoghurt and fruit: Add a spoonful of honey to plain yoghurt or pour over fresh fruit for a healthy, tasty snack.

In the kitchen:

Marinades and vinaigrettes: Use garrigue honey to sweeten your marinades and vinaigrettes, adding a sweet, aromatic touch to your dishes. Pastries: Replace refined sugar with garrigue honey in your cakes, cookies and other pastry recipes for a more natural alternative.

In beverages :

Tea and herbal teas: Add a teaspoon of garrigue honey to your tea or herbal tea for a soothing effect, especially for sore throats. Smoothies and juices: Sweeten your smoothies and fruit juices naturally with this honey for a subtle, fragrant touch.

Natural care:

Conservation :

Where does Garrigue honey come from?

We produce our garrigue honey in the Alpes de Haute Provence department.

Garrigue honey is made from spring flowers. It is essentially composed of thyme flowers and other wild aromatic plants from our region (savory, rosemary, wild lavender, etc.).

You'll also find oak honeydew inside, which will give it a fairly strong flavour.
